Introducing the REDCap Community of Practice

The REDCap Community of Practice is an informal group of University of Alberta REDCap users who share REDCap related passion and expertise. As part of the University of Alberta Research Computing Network we communicate and network online to learn from each other, solve problems, improve our skills and build collective knowledge. We are also planning quarterly online meetings with a more formal agenda, as well as occasional in-person meetings on an ad-hoc basis.

The community is open to any member of the University of Alberta research community with a functioning CCID.  Access the community of practice pages by logging in to the University of Alberta Research Computing Network. You may then search for the REDCap pages (under "Communities") and join the community.

The community is the preferred medium for making important announcements regarding REDCap. University community members with a CCID can join the community of practice and subscribe to announcements and events. These may include:

• Announcements

• Downtime schedules

• Release notes

• Service interruptions

• Events

• Community of Practice meetings

• Training sessions

This community is not intended to replace existing training or helpdesk support. (Support requests will be rejected and the author must instead email the helpdesk at redcap@ualberta.ca)
